Senkiw, Christina [Sen'kiv, Xrystyna] (nee Welyhorsky), b 20 October 1950 in Toronto. Ukrainian-Canadian painter and graphic artist. A graduate of the University of Toronto (BFA, 1973), she has worked as an illustrator and book designer. She has designed covers for the children's magazine Veselka and has illustrated the History of Ukrainian Costume (1986) and Timmy Kitten (1989). Her drawings for children and paintings have been displayed in 10 solo and several group exhibitions in Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and Ottawa.
